The National Guard
Disasterville
It’s dangerous to put students on the front lines of delivering aid during natural disasters. At least, that’s what our lawyers said. That’s why we created an experience that left the mission, but removed the risk.
Disasterville is a full-roaming VR experience that removes the controllers while dropping prospects into the boots of real, on-the-ground Soldiers. They can tackle wildfires, saving animals and property. Search a flooded city for survivors. Or race against the clock in an earthquake’s aftermath.

Mission Day
Saving the world in time for dinner.
A lot of people think the National Guard is just our back-up Army. But what they protect is more personal than just our country. They protect their community from natural disasters and provide relief where needed.
In Mission Day, we put students in the boots of Soldiers fighting natural disasters and, most of all, climate change. We simulated typical yet rarely talked about missions that the Guard battles every day. Wildfires, earthquakes, and chemical cleanups, including basic first aid like CPR, setting splints, and more.
Uncommon is Calling
Side hustles are too common these days. Sure, some people want them, but for Gen Z, it’s out of necessity. What they don’t know is that there’s a side hustle that’s less of a grind, more of a mission. A place to test and hone their skills. Where one weekend a month they can do good in their community. They can keep their full-time job, stay close to friends and family, and nurture their other passions. That one weekend a month though—it’s more of a calling than a side job.
State of Emergency
In the wake of a hurricane, the National Guard has a job to do. Actually, dozens of jobs. Tapping into the new Quest 3 hardware, we created an experience where users rolled into a catastrophe to save lives, clean chemical spills, lift trucks, build improvised bridges, direct air traffic, and more. Look ma! I’m making video games! (And you said that wasn’t a real career.)
